Sponsorship opportunities: Hot Metal Supporters ($104 or more) receive recognition through a pair of upper & lowercase letters and receive special recognition through the Ampersand Award. * Okay. Technically, a marathon is 26.2 miles (26 miles 385 yards). And yes, for typographers the alphabet has far more than 26 letters (a fact that will bear itself out as people vie for their letters of choice, and I in turn, rob the unicode set, adding accented characters, dipthongs, currency symbols, and other glyphs to the mix).
